Malala joins the cricket family

Everyone knows Malala Yousafzai loves her cricket - she has been a big fan of the Pakistan team and been spotted at several cricket matches - but now she's really cemented her relationship with the game: yesterday she announced her marriage to Asser Malik, the manager of the PCB's High Performance Centre in a small ceremony at home.

Today marks a precious day in my life.
Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.
