A tri-series between Bermuda, Canada and Zimbabwe has been arranged immediately following Zimbabwe's seven-match one-day series against West Indies.
The tri-series will involve each side playing one another once, with the best two meeting in a one-off final. All matches will take place in Port of Spain between May 16 and 20.
While it is assumed that Zimbabwe will retain the squad already in the Caribbean, this has been thrown into some doubt with a report that eight of that side are planning to head to the UK as soon as the West Indies series ends.
Bermuda have yet to name a squad, but Canada have named theirs. Ian Billcliff is unavailable, but the Canadians have drafted in two players with first-class experience - Stewart Heaney, an Australian raised Canadian, and Geoff Barnett a New Zealander who also holds a Canadian passport.
