How was Christmas for those who celebrate it?
It could have been worse.
And how was New Year?
Hopefully unlike most New Year's resolutions, that one will be kept.
Plus some fool who came as Shane Warne.
Other than that, there's been some memorable action on the field in the last couple of weeks.
While Alex Hales got a bowl during the second Test and now fancies himself as a spinner.
Graeme Swann has of course moved on from cricket to a career as a top-level chef.
A few things have happened off the field as well. How shall we sum it up? Let's go with:
That particular incident was of course a huge surprise. After all, Gayle's always been a man of unimpeachable class.
That's not how to dress.
Nor is that.
But who are we to judge?
Can we not even judge their idiosyncratic use of English?
Touché. Although we still feel within our rights to judge his use of hashtags.
Somewhere in the world, there is always a cricketer being something of a connoisseur of the finer points of air travel.
Someone seemingly less au fait with flights and time zones is Gloucestershire's Benny Howell.
Great hashtag work, though. Shehzad could learn a thing or two from that.
