Umpires for Nairobi event named

Lahore, Sept 11: No umpire from Pakistan, New Zealand and Sri Lanka was appointed to conduct the ICC knock out tournament scheduled to be held in Kenya next month.

It was learnt that six umpires from five countries were inducted in the panel, who included two umpires from England and one each from West Indies, India, Australia and South Africa.

From England David Shepherd and Peter Willey are appointed. The others are Steve Bucknor (West Indies), Srinivas Venkataraghavan (India), Darrell Hair (Australia) and Dave Orchard (South Africa).
