Shane Warne has revealed that he is hoping to return to The Rose Bowl in 2007.
"At this stage my plans are to come back," he told the Southern Daily Echo. "I'm 37 now and am not sure what's down the track but I thoroughly enjoy playing for and captaining Hampshire. Once the enjoyment stops I'll retire, but I'd love to end my career here."
He admitted that his decision was dependant on Australia's schedule. "Nothing will be finalised until early next year but I'll sit down with Rod Bransgrove, Tim Tremlett and Paul Terry to discuss what we want and what we think we need in the next few months."
