Warwickshire beat Glamorgan by two wickets (D/L system)
Scorecard
Warwickshire scrambled a win off the penultimate ball of their rain-affected match against Glamorgan at Edgbaston. Robert Croft (42) and David Hemp (41) were the main-stays of Glamorgan's lowly 193, in which Dougie Brown took 4 for 37. In their reply, Warwickshire made a terrible start to 16 for 3, but the wise old head of Nick Knight gelled the innings back together with a steady 75. Brown also chipped in with a rapid 49 from 53 balls to keep Warwickshire in the hunt before Neil Carter and Keith Piper held their nerve at the end. It was Glamorgan's first defeat of the season, and it means that Surrey move ominously to the top - and they didn't even play today.
Leicestershire beat Yorkshire by 18 runs
Scorecard
Yorkshire remained stuck to the bottom of the table after Leicestershire's overseas pair Virender Sehwag and Brad Hodge gave them the run-a-round at Headingley. Sehwag crashed 65 while Hodge bagged a century as they put on 126 for the second wicket. For Yorkshire, Yuvraj Singh did his best to show his worth as the overseas pro, and he didn't do badly with 50 from 46 balls - but it wasn't quite enough. David Masters and Philip DeFreitas, who both took 3 for 33, continued to chip away at the batting order and even though Tim Bresnan launched an onslaught of 61 off 51, it was too little too late.

Middlesex beat Nottinghamshire by one run
Scorecard
They don't come any closer than this. Needing two runs to win and one to tie off the final ball of the match, Nottinghamshire's Richard Logan's attempt at a quick single was foiled when he was run out to give Middlesex the points. Logan had earlier taken four wickets in Middlesex's 234 in which Owais Shah struck a classy hundred - the first scored by a Middlesex player against Notts in the history of the competition. Kevin Pietersen then kept Notts on course, but when he was caught on the midwicket boundary off Ed Joyce for a 70-ball 82, things tightened up. Notts needed 62 from the last 10 overs but collapsed with Bilal Shafayat, Paul Franks and Gareth Clough all out quickly before Logan fell on the last ball.
Lancashire beat Durham by three wickets
Scorecard
Glen Chapple led Lancashire to a memorable win as he shepherded a lower-order fightback when all seemed lost against Durham. Chasing 198, Lancashire bombed to 58 for 5 as Liam Plunkett plundered three quick wickets. However, with sterling help from Warren Hegg (39) and Kyle Hogg (22), Chapple hit six fours and one six in his brave 77 at No. 7, as Lancashire overcame a stunned Durham side with seven balls to spare.
