2.1 to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Gurbaz plays on! And that's the wicket Sri Lanka craved! This is back of a length, 136kph, wide outside off, and all in all not a special delivery by any means. But Gurbaz is loose on the square drive, as his feet are planted in the crease. A thick inside edge takes it on to the base of the stumps.. 6/1 11.2 to Rahmat Shah, Rajitha strikes again! This was quick and short from Rajitha, but it's the softest of dismissals as far as Shah is concerned. He looks to pull this, but is rushed by the extra pace and bounce. Only manages to get a glove on it as it loops gently to Mendis behind the stumps.. 47/2 48.5 to Rashid Khan, Chipped to backward point! Rashid standing on off stump for his guard, and Rajitha fires this yorker wide outside off, Rashid is waiting for it and looks to ramp over backward point but can't clear the man.. 299/7 | ||||||||||

14.1 to Hashmatullah Shahidi, Oh Hashmatullah has got himself into a right royal mess here! He looks to come down the track but Dhananjaya spots it and pushes this shorter and flatter. Hashmatullah is forced to correct his stroke and shifts his weight back, only to be rapped on the back pad. The finger goes up straight away, but the batter reviews! Three reds though means he has to go, and what's more Afghanistan lose a review.. 57/3 | ||||||||||

37.4 to Najibullah Zadran, Has Shanaka taken a blinder here?! Yes he has! This was whipped hard and low towards Shanaka at midwicket, who dives forward full stretch and takes an incredible low grab. Shanaka is not sure, and the umpires go upstairs. And the replays show Shanaka just about having his fingertips underneath the ball, but my word this is a close call! Sri Lanka have the breakthrough!. 211/4 41.3 to Mohammad Nabi, But Hasaranga hits back! Nabi goes for the big heave over cow corner, and it's another length googly so he's playing with the spin. But he doesn't get the distance. Nissanka at long-on comes a few metres in and takes a comfortable catch.. 241/5 | ||||||||||

17.6 to BKG Mendis, gone this time! Full delivery just outside off stump and Mendis' eyes light up. He tries to heave it over deep mid wicket but the length is too full to get underneath it. The ball clinks off the toe end of the bat and arrows towards deep mid wicket, where Rashid does the rest. 101/1 30.3 to LD Chandimal, Nabi cleans him up the very next ball! A fairly innocuous back of a length delivery on middle and off stump. Chandimal looks to work to leg but this one keeps just a tad low. He completely misses a straight ball and hears the death rattle soon after. Just what Afghanistan were looking for; just what Sri Lanka did not need at this stage!. 164/4 | ||||||||||

20.1 to P Nissanka, castled! What a champion Rashid is! Length delivery on middle and leg stump, and Nissanka has no clue that this is a wrong'un. Like earlier in the spell, he goes back to a ball he should have been forward too. In the end, he is very late on the stroke as the ball breezes past the bat and thunders into the stumps. 107/2 22.3 to DM de Silva, knocks him over! Another flat length delivery at the stumps, and another Sri Lankan batter plays the trajectory, instead of the length. He goes back and has a swipe at it, only to see the ball rush past the flailing bat and smash into the stumps. Might have been the flipper as well, and Sri Lanka are now in a spot of bother!. 116/3 41.4 to MD Shanaka, Rashid you beauty! Shanaka done in by an absolute peach here! It was the googly, looped up on a good length. Draws Shanaka forward and then squeezes between pad and bat to rattle middle and off.. 243/5 43.1 to PW Hasaranga, Another one for Rashid! This was short of a length and pushed through outside off. Not really a threatening delivery as such, though it does keep a little low. It's the lack of bounce that eventually does Hasaranga in, as he looks to cut this and only manages an under edge through to Gurbaz behind the stumps.. 249/6 | ||||||||||
