1.3 to C Munro, taken at long on! Munro perishes early! Length delivery just outside off and Munro's eyes light up. He plants his front foot and looks to go downtown. Gets a decent chunk of it but not enough to clear Green at long on, who judges it nicely, takes it over his shoulder and then tiptoes around the fence to complete the catch!. 6/1 | ||||||||||

3.5 to J Charles, Charles bites the dust! Slowed up beautifully on a length on off stump. Charles, looking at the flight, thinks he can deposit this over cow corner. He is nowhere to the pitch of the ball, though, and because he plays across the line, the ball spoons up off the top edge. Imad does the rest at short third man and the Kings are two down!. 23/2 7.4 to PBB Rajapaksa, cleans him up! Green has two! Slowed up even more on a length on middle and off stump. Rajapaksa backs away a touch, looking to access the off side. He is beaten in the air, though, and plays way too early as the ball squirms past the bat and disturbs the furniture!. 38/3 | ||||||||||

12.3 to AS Joseph, castled! Another experiment falls flat on its face! Back of a length on off stump. Joseph has another wild slog at it but loses his shape completely. Does not watch the ball closely either and hears the death rattle soon after. The only good thing about this entire sequence, from a Kings perspective, is that Joseph only used up two balls.... 65/5 | ||||||||||

10.6 to S Descarte, edged and taken! Hard length that follows the batter as he backs away and cramps him for room. Descarte has a swipe at it anyway but all he manages is a feather through to the keeper. The umpire thought about it for an eternity before eventually raising his finger!. 59/4 | ||||||||||

15.2 to Sikandar Raza, knocks him over with an absolute ripper! Fired in on a full length on off stump. The ball seems destined to angle in until it pitches, grips and rips away. Goes past Raza's outside edge and smashes into off stump. A slightly dodgy celebration follows but this is just the scalp the Tallawahs would have wanted!. 94/6 15.5 to RL Chase, Allen has two in the over! And the dodgy dance move is back! Fired in on a length on middle and leg stump. Unlike the ball that got Raza, this one continues with the arm. Chase slogs at it and misses, hearing the death rattle soon after!. 95/7 17.3 to MW Forde, huge appeal, and that looks stone-dead! Full and slanted into off stump. Forde gets down on one knee and swipes across the line. Gets pinned on the pads and the umpire has no hesitation in raising his finger. Forde is happy to walk back before his partner convinces him to go for the review because, well, why not. The ball had a fair distance to travel but it did not bounce much or turn much. No bat involved either, and Ball Tracking returns with three reds!. 103/8 17.5 to RS Primus, Allen has four, and the dance move is back! Not sure what to call it so let's get back to the cricket. This is given just a hint of air on a length on off stump. The ball grips, holds a little and Primus, looking to smash it into next week, is early into the stroke. 4.1 to BA King, and he gets King! Length delivery that hones in on off stump. King, for the first time today, loses his shape and slogs wildly at it. Misses the ball completely and his off stump is pegged back! Has the damage already been done, though?. 43/1 4.2 to SR Taylor, two in two for Forde! This game is alive! Length delivery angled into off stump. Taylor, expecting the ball to continue that path, plays down that line. The ball, though, straightens just a shade and clips the top of off stump. Forde is absolutely pumped and the Kings feel they have a window of opportunity now!. 43/2 6.4 to SSJ Brooks, a big shout, a celebrappeal actually and Forde has his third! Back of a length delivery that pitches just outside off and nips back in sharply. Keeps a little low too and traps Brooks on the crease. He has a stab at it but is awfully late on the stroke as the ball pins him on the back pad. An easy decision for the umpire!. 65/3 16.3 to Imad Wasim, Imad falls! Full delivery just outside off.
