What should have been a comprehensive win was nearly thrown away by the impetuousness of the middle order as they got closer to the target. The win with two overs to spare, however, should help their net run-rate despite the drama towards the end. It should give them some breathing space in their match against Supernovas. After a miserly bowling performance, the chase was set up by 15-year old Shafali Verma and Danielle Wyatt played some gorgeous shots through the off side. They were also aided by some shoddy fielding as the Trailblazers put down as many as four chances.

length outside off, she comes down the wicket and slices it to point where it falls short of the fielder, Mithali called for the run, Veda also took off but was ball watching and in the end, both of them were stranded mid-pitch as the throw came in to the keeper, who removed the bails. After a few replays, it's Veda who has to walk back as they hadn't quite crossed
