Trinbago Knight Riders v Jamaica Tallawahs, Tarouba

NOTE: We might not always be able to tip you off about late injury (or other relevant) updates, so do keep an eye out for the toss before making your final picks.
Our XI: Sunil Narine/Lendl Simmons, Glenn Phillips, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Jayden Seales, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Khary Pierre, Ali Khan, Sandeep Lamichhane
Captain: Mujeeb Ur Rahman
Mujeeb is the leading wicket-taker in the season so far with 13 wickets in six games. His remarkable economy of 3.87 stands out especially for someone who mostly bowls in the powerplay for the Tallawahs. He has so far picked up three three-wicket hauls and you can always bank on him to get you those extra points.
Vice-captain: Kieron Pollard
Pollard's monstrous hits were on display during the match against Barbados Tridents. He smashed a 28-ball 72 including nine sixes to single-handedly take the Knight Riders to a win, smashing Hayden Walsh for four sixes in an over to turn the game. An in-form Pollard is a must-have in your side.
Point to note
  • Sunil Narine has not been part of the last three Knight Riders games. If he is not playing, have Lendl Simmons in your XI. Simmons is yet to put on a grand display with the bat for his side but showed signs of form in his 29-ball 32 against the Tridents. If Narine plays, you might want to make him your captain.
  • Hot Picks
Glenn Phillips: The in-form New Zealand batsman is currently at the top of the batting charts this season with 207 runs in six games. He scored an unbeaten 79 off 61 to take the Tallawahs to a comfortable win against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the last match. Expect his good form to continue.
Andre Russell: Russell is due a big match-winning innings this season, but he has shown glimpses of getting there in the last few games. He was not part of the Tallawahs' last two games so his inclusion is contingent upon him being picked. But if he is, then is an automatic choice in your XI.
Sandeep Lamichhane: The youngster has been impressive this season with seven wickets in the last four games. Lamichhane has also been economical and has controlled the scoring rate in the middle overs.
    Value Picks
Jayden Seales: The 18-year-old is yet to make a big impact but has picked up five wickets in his last three games. The medium-pacer has accounted for some big names like Phillips, Johnson Charles and Nicholas Pooran.
Carlos Brathwaite: Brathwaite has had a couple of impressive outing this season. He has two three wicket-hauls so far, and in the last match he finished with 3 for 11 for the Tallawahs, picking up important middle-order wickets to help bowl the Patriots out for 110.
