Uganda secure Athul Shah Memorial Winner's Cup and Tanzania the Plate.

The Atul Shah Memorial Cup was won by Uganda in a thrilling final. Uganda won the toss and elected to bat scoring 185 for 9 in their allotted 50 overs.
The Kenya "A" team was progressing steadily but soon collapsed due to an excellent spell by Ugandan Bowler Akbar Baig who ripped through the middle order that saw Kenya "A" stumble to 138 all out.
In the Plate Championship Tanzania batted first and scored 154 for 8 in 30 overs. The Coast Cricket Club looked well on there way to securing a victory when Hussein Shani took the vital wicket of Mohammed Fazal for 36. He was ably assisted by Atamani Kakonzi who took 4 for 21 in 4.3. dismissing the tail end. Tazania were thus crowned Plate Champions.
