BCB's emergency meeting Friday

Bangladesh Cricket Board has called an emergency meeting next Friday to announce a new three-member selection committee. The previous five-member committee headed by Lutfor Rahman Makhan was dissolved last April.

According to sources, the new selection committee will be given approval in the meeting and will be asked with selecting the team for the 16th Commonwealth Games, to be held in Malaysia from September 11. The committee must select the squad within three days.

The last date for sending the national team list to the Games organising committee is August 11.
