Botswana secured the narrowest of victories against Nigeria thanks to the bowling of Aslam Chand who managed to stop the flow of runs by tailenders, Seun Odeku and Joshua Ogunlola. Noor Ahmed's 102 not out earned him the Man of the Match Award.
In the other match Tanzanian Athumani Kakonzi, scored an unbeaten 108 and took 3 for 42 in 10 to help Tanzania to a 150 run victory over Mozambique, and earning him the man of the match awards.
Today sees Botswana vs Zambia and Tanzania vs Nigeria.
