Zimbabwe batsman Alistair Campbell has been fined 25 per cent of his match
fee for the tri series one-day international against Australia in Hobart for
comments about the umpiring.
Campbell criticised umpire Steve Davis' decision to give Australian opener
Andrew Symonds not out off Heath Streak's bowling in last Tuesday's match.
Campbell told a post-match press conference he believed the ball came to the
keeper off Symonds' gloves and should have been out -- and everyone thought
that except the umpire.
International Cricket Council match referee Denis Lindsay says Campbell was
found guilty of breaking the ICC's Players and Team Officials Code governing
public comments about a game.
