TEAM CANADA
The following players have been selected to represent Canada in
the Red Stripe Bowl October 4Ð11, 1997 in Guyana. Canada,
Guyana, Barbados and the Leeward Islands will make up the group.

Three originally selected players & members of the Malaysia ICC
Trophy 1997 squad, N. Issacs, B. Rajadurai & B. Seebaran were
unable to obtain leave from work in order to participate.
The Canadian Team which was due to arrive in Guyana at 9:30 has
been delayed at Sir Grantley Adams airport in Barbados due to
aircraft scheduling difficulties. The team left Pearson
International this morning via Miami by Canadian Airlines.
After a 4 hour stopover they were scheduled to proceed via
Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago to Guyana. The team is
scheduled to take part in two warm up matches on Wednesday and
Thursday in Guyana before the first tournament game on Saturday.
