Delhi have it easy against Services

Delhi coasted to an eight wicket victory over Services in the North Zone Ranji Trophy One day tournament match at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium, Delhi on Friday.

Opting to bat, Services soon ran into trouble losing both openers for 13 runs. It was all downhill from there, as they crawled their way to 133 in 42.5 overs. Rahul Sanghvi put his left arm spinners to good effect, bagging three for 27 runs. R Gehlot and S Dyama picked up two wickets each for 22 runs.

Delhi opener Vishal Sharma made an unbeaten 61 to guide Delhi home in the 35th over. Southpaw Gautam Gambhir chipped in with a well balanced 50. Sharma had five boundaries and one six in his innings wheras Gambhir smashed six boundaries. Delhi picked up two points by way of this comfortable victory.
