Four Durham players have been awarded their county caps. Eighteen-year-old batsman Nicky Peng from Newcastle becomes the youngest ever Durham player to be awarded his cap.
He is joined by fellow north-easterner Andrew Pratt from Bishop Auckland who has had a superb season with the bat as well as behind the stumps.
Two of the club's "imports" have also been awarded their caps. Off spinner Nicky Phillips has provided some match-winning performances and all-rounder Danny Law has been one of the stars of the season.
