Gilchrist reappointed Warriors captain

THE WA Cricket Association is proud to announce Adam Gilchrist as Western Warriors captain for the forthcoming 2002-2003 season.

The Australian Test and international limited-overs vice-captain will skipper the Warriors for his second season after succeeding the retired Tom Moody last year.

Adam's Test teammate Justin Langer will be Western Warriors vice-captain.

After thorough consideration from the State selectors and endorsement from the International and Interstate Committee, the leadership pair were confirmed.

Adam and Justin will join the full Warriors squad this weekend in a fitness training camp at Rottnest, under supervision of physical training coach Neil Tyndall.
