Imran Idrees led Wanderers to a thumping 190 run victory over Templars in the first full weekend of matches in 2007 played over the weekend of 6-7 January 2007. Other centurions from the round included Prashanth Ganggahara (Vagabonds) and Robert Taylor (Infidels) while Chris Williams (Optimists) and Paul Molloy (Centaurs) claimed five wickets apiece.
2006-07 HKCA Saturday League
Round 14 of the 2006-07 Saturday League was played in cool but fine conditions in Saturday 6th January 2007. Matches played saw Hong Kong Under-19's thrash Laguna Gully by 96 runs, Crusaders beat Police by 74 runs and LSW Warriors beat CCC by 77 runs. Meanwhile Tartars ended Witherers seven match winning streak and Centaurs scored an upset two-wicket victory over Lamma. HKU enjoyed a similar two-wicket victory margin over Mainlanders while Nomads thumped the mis-firing Saracens by seven wickets.

2006-07 HKCA Sunday League
Optimists and Little Sai Wan continued their tussle at the top of the Sunday League points table as they scored comfortable victories in the latest round of matches. Optimists barely raised a sweat as they demolished Sri Lanka Club by 8 wickets at Mission Road with Chris Williams claiming five wickets. Little Sai Wan were equally impressive as they saw off Millennium by six wickets at Po Kong Village Road.
In another lop-sided match, Wanderers pummelled Templars by 190 runs at Hong Kong Cricket Club, with Imran Imdrees hitting the highest individual score so far this season with 186.
In the other match played at Kowloon Cricket, Vagabonds' Prashanth Ganggahara and Infidels' Robert Taylor traded unbeaten centuries but it was Infidels that came out on top by eight wickets.

Lamma maintained contact with the competition leaders as they beat Sri Lanka Club by seven wickets in the latest match of the HKCA Women's League. Yoyo Poon claimed three wickets as Sri Lanka Club were dismissed for just 76 runs and Lamma had little trouble chasing down the total with Sam McIllwaith hitting an unbeaten 19.
