Jayanatha Dharmadasa, a former cricket board presidential candidate, who dramatically pulled out of a contest with Thilanga Sumathipala at the BCCSL Annual General Meeting (AGM) last year, was successfully elected as the new President of Galle Cricket Club at it's AGM on Sunday.
Dharmadasa, brother of Upali, another heavy weight cricket figure in Sri Lankan cricket politics, replaces Ravi Arunthawanathan.
