Kapil Dev hurt while playing golf

Former Indian cricket captain and the Wisden Indian Cricketer of the century, Kapil Dev was hurt during an exhibition match at the Chandigarh golf course in Chandigarh on Tuesday.

Kapil, who was playing in a Pro-Am tournament, was caught in the 90-yard range shot of another player. The star started bleeding profusely after being hit right in the middle of his forehead while he was moving towards a group of fans on the green.

He was rushed to a private hospital where the doctors stitched his injury on the forehead. After being discharged from the hospital, Kapil went to his mother's house in sector 27 here. Earlier, Kapil inaugurated the nine-hole golf course at the CGA complex near Kishangarh village on the outskirts of Chandigarh.
