Papps to lead Christchurch side in trial match

Michael Papps will lead a Christchurch XI to play Canterbury Country in a trial game at Dudley Park, Rangiora on Sunday, starting at 11am. The side was announced by the chairman of selectors, Craig Thiele.

The Christchurch side is: Michael Papps (captain), David Kelly, Shanan Stewart, Gary Stead, Neil Broom, Aaron Redmond, Andrew Ellis, Cleighton Cornelius, Steve Cunis, Adam Chambers, Leighton Burtt, Chris Martin.
