Phil Frost named as PCA 'Groundsman of the Year'

Somerset Head Groundsman Phil Frost has just won another award to add to his long list of achievements.

Phil, who was born and brought up at nearby Wellington has just been informed that he has won the prestigious Professional Cricketers Association `Groundsman of the Year Award.'

Phil has been at the County Ground for fourteen years and has won the English Cricket Board's Groundman of the Year Award, which is based on the markings of the umpires a record breaking five times.
