Shoaib Akhtar to join camp today

Karachi, Dec 20: Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar will join the training camp in Lahore on Tuesday, team official said. Intikhab Alam said from Lahore that Shoaib has arrived in Islamabad and he had a brief chat with him on telephone.

"He said he would be attending the camp on Tuesday. He added that he had been attending training sessions in England," Intikhab said.

The training camp has been established to prepare the team for the forthcoming tri-nation series starting in Australia from Jan 9. Australia and India are the other teams taking part.
