Sachin Tendulkar's recovery from his injured left hand is on track after a successful operation on it last month. Tendulkar injured a finger while attempting to catch a ball last November, and went to America for a minor operation to repair the damage.
And the good news for Indian fans is that, according to Dror Paley, the doctor who performed the operation, Tendulkar is now feeling no pain and no longer needs to wear a splint to support the finger. This means that he should be back in the Indian team for their next series, at home to New Zealand in October.
Paley also revealed that Tendulkar, who played through the World Cup with the injury, has not played any cricket since leaving hospital, but is keeping his eye in by playing golf.
