The ODI league will now be a direct qualification pathway to the World Cup, with the top ten teams making it
Four-day Test trials will be undertaken basis agreement between competing teams until the 2019 World Cup, "probably" starting with the Boxing Day Test between Zimbabwe and South Africa
The points system, hosting arrangements and competition for the World Test Championship and the ODI league are yet to be finalised.
