The umpiring appointments for matches on 16 & 17 February at the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka have been confirmed.
Thursday 16 February
Plate Championship semi-final, Nepal v South Africa, at Nondescripts Cricket Club - Tyron Wijewardena & Shahul Hameed
Super League play-off semi-final, Sri Lanka v Zimbabwe, at Sinhalese Sports Club - Gary Baxter & Nadeem Ghauri
Friday 17 February
Plate Championship play-off semi-final, Uganda v Scotland at P.Saravanamuttu Stadium - Roger Dill & Steve Davis
Super League semi-final, Australia v Pakistan at R.Premadasa Stadium (D/N)* - Asoka de Silva & Gary Baxter; TV umpire - Peter Manuel
Appointments for the last two days of the tournament, Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 February, will be made and announced in due course.
The umpiring panel for the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup has been made up of eight officials from the Emirates ICC International Panel and four members of the ICC Associate and Affiliate Panel.
The latter panel was formed last year to give umpires from non Test-playing ICC Members the chance of standing at the highest level.
* Both Super League semi-finals and the Super League final are day-night matches, starting at 2.30pm. All other matches are day games starting at 10am.
The Super League final between India and the winners of the Australia - Pakistan match will be played on 19 February.
Pakistan are the defending champions after winning the ICC U/19 Cricket World Cup in Bangladesh two years ago, beating the West Indies in the final in Dhaka.
