The International Cricket Council's Winter Training Camp is officially launched on Monday 17 October by ICC Vice-President Percy Sonn at the high performance centre at the University of Pretoria in South Africa

The International Cricket Council's Winter Training Camp is officially launched on Monday 17 October by ICC Vice-President Percy Sonn at the high performance centre at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
Part of the ICC's High Performance Programme, the Winter Training Camp brings together 23 players from the six Associate countries that will take part in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 - Bermuda, Canada, Ireland, Kenya, the Netherlands and Scotland.
Under a team led by Scotland coach Andy Moles, the attendees are receiving technical, tactical, physical and mental training over an 11-week period.
The media are invited to attend to obtain footage of the players in action, have a light lunch and conduct interviews with Percy Sonn, players and coaching staff.

The programme for the day is as follows:
0930 - 1130 - Opportunity for vision of the players in action during a trial match at the University Tuks Cricket Oval, just across from the high performance centre (located at the end of Burnet Street)
1130 - Official launch of the Winter Training Programme, attended by ICC Vice-President Percy Sonn and ICC High Performance Manager Richard Done at the hpc restaurant and patio area
1200 - 1230 - Lunch
1230 onwards - Interview opportunities with Percy Sonn, Richard Done, WTC Head Coach Andy Moles and some of the players attending the WTC
