0.2 to RD Rickelton, nicked off! Wood strikes second ball. Full, swinging away viciously late, and Buttler gobbles up the chance. A lazy waft from Rickelton, feet glued to the crease, and he bags a golden duck. 1/1 2.5 to LG Pretorius, stunning effort from Brook at mid-off! Exceptional take from the England captain. Good length, and Pretorius gets into an ugly position looking to muscle it leg-side. It loops up towards Brook, who flings himself forwards and snaffles a tough chance. Wood strikes again!. 33/2

7.3 to T Stubbs, yorked on the reverse-scoop! 86mph, full and straight, you miss, I hit. Stubbs steps across and looks to flick him over his right shoulder this time, up and over short third, but instead hears the death-rattle and skips back off to the dressing room. 90/5
2 | 0 | 24 | 1 | 12.00 | 3 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
3.4 to AK Markram, googly, banged in halfway down. Skied a long way up, and Wood settles underneath it at short midwicket! Rashid bowls to his dimensions, knowing that South Africa are trying to exploit the short straight boundaries, and Markram's steepler is well pouched by England's opening bowler. 37/3

1 | 0 | 11 | 1 | 11.00 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
6.1 to D Brevis, starts with a wicket! It's the moon-ball to start, lobbing up so slow as to barely register on the speed gun. Brevis waits for it, but not quite long enough, and it skews up off his outside edge to the man at backward point as he looks to maul it over mid-on. 73/4 |

0.1 to PD Salt, holes out to deep backward square! Salt could hardly have connected better on the pick-up across the full length, but that is the longest corner of the ground, and Maphaka merely had to hop inside the rope to pluck it down! Two feet either side, and that was six!. 0/1
2 | 0 | 18 | 2 | 9.00 | 7 | 0 | 2 | 1 | 0 | |
1.3 to JG Bethell, opens the face, looks for the launch, skied out to cover! Ferreira picks up the flight early, turns and tracks back, keeping his eyes on the ball as it plopped over his shoulder.. 17/2 3.6 to JC Buttler, huge thrash, thin nick to the keeper! Buttler loses his shape as Jansen hits his length outside off, and it's an inside-edge low to Rickelton... that, surely, is the game for South Africa. 43/4

2.3 to HC Brook, Brook connects at last... and it is his last! Took on a cramped flick, on the pads and whipping his bat hard across the line, it's a big steepling leading edge, plopping into Rickelton's gloves. Two forgettable knocks in quick succession for the skipper! And his first T20I duck. 28/3 4.1 to T Banton, full toss, into the legs, Banton fluffs his clip across the line! A massive leading edge, plops into Markram's hands at mid-off. This is nearly done now. 43/5 |
