Das ton sets up easy win for Abahani

A round-up of the Dhaka Premier Division matches played on December 11, 2014

Abahani rode on Litton Das' maiden List-A hundred as they defeated Kalabagan Cricket Academy by seven wickets in Fatullah.
Litton smashed 108 off 77 balls, hitting ten fours and five sixes. The innings made the 186-run chase easy as the opening partnership between Litton and Abdul Mazid added 147 runs in 24.3 overs. Mazid was a good foil, making 45 off 78 balls.
Earlier, KCA were bowled out for 185 in 32.5 overs with Sabbir Rahman making 83 off 64 balls, with six fours and five sixes. Al-Amin Hossain and Saqlain Sajib took two wickets each.
Prime Bank Cricket Club remained on top of the points table after a 47-run win over Kalabagan Krira Chakra in Mirpur. It was Prime Bank's ninth consecutive win. However, life became a lot more difficult to KKC, who are now equal on points with Partex Sporting Club near the bottom of the table.
Batting first in a fog-shortened game that began at 1:00pm, Prime Bank got off to a quick start and continued to bat at a good tempo as they made 193 for 6 in 25 overs. Shadman Islam made 54 off 51 balls after opener Soumya Sarkar had hit three fours and two sixes in his 34-ball 35.
KKC captain Abdur Razzak and Nasum Ahmed took three wickets each, but their overseas player, Elton Chigumbura, went for 41 runs in three overs. The Zimbabwean didn't make it up with the bat either, getting run out for 15. KKC could only make 146 for 9 in 25 overs, Tasamul Haque top scoring with 31. Taijul Islam, Farhad Reza and Enamul Haque jnr took two wickets each.
With their 28-run win over Brothers Union, Victoria Sporting Club went equal on 12 points with Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club, Legends of Rupganj and Mohammedan Sporting Club, with a shot to play in the league's second phase.
Batting first, Victoria made 203 for 6 in 34 overs. Imrul Kayes struck 72 off 73 balls with six fours and three sixes. Asif Hasan, Joe Denly and Ahmed Sadiqur took two wickets each.
In reply, the Brothers openers Avishek Mitra and Yasir Ali Chowdhury added 88 for the first wicket, making 52 and 65 respectively. They were still in control in the 25th over when Denly got out for 26, but wickets started to tumble quickly.
They were restricted to 169 for 9 in 33 overs with two wickets each for Abu Haider and Suhrawadi Shuvo.
