full on middle stump and Lumb whips it off the middle of the bat through mid wicket for the match winning boundary
Heat vs Sixers, at Brisbane, Jan 07 2013 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Sixers won by 5 wickets (with 6 balls remaining)
Well played Michael Lumb. He finishes unbeaten on 61 from 55 deliveries in a perfectly paced innings to get the Sixers over the line for just the third time this season. Despite the victory, the Sixers remain in seventh spot on the table on net run rate.
Three wickets each to Steve O'Keefe and Josh Hazlewood restricted the Heat to a mediocre 127 for nine and the calm head of overseas professional Michael Lumb ensured there were no heart flutters for the Sixers.
Ben Cutting and Dan Christian's bowling ensured that the Sixers wouldn't have an easy task but, in the end, they never had enough runs to defend.
Michael Lumb is awarded with the Man of the Match award for his unbeaten fifty.
