After the Lightning only managed to score 137, it did feel that it was going to be a tough target to defend and so it proved.
After the lose of those two early wickets, Frost and Kane came together and either side of the Lunch break put on an excellent 118 run partnership to drive the hop out of the Lightning bowlers.
After the Lunch break, Kane completed an excellent half-century and has been named player of the match. Although Manley would have run him close after his excellent bowling spell earlier in the day.
The Reds pick up a bonus point for the win and join the Lightning and the North West Warriors on 9 points. They all sit 4 points behind the Knights with only three games left in the season.
