4.6 to DP Sibley, lovely delivery, that's on a length and moves in from outside off, Sibley stays on the crease and plays across the line as he tries to pushes it to on side, closes the face early and the extra bounce took the leading edge towards short cover, McClure drives forward and holds a good catch.. 13/1 47.2 to RF Higgins, short of a length delivery on off, he backs away and tries to make some room to slice it over cover region, played that quite away from his body and mistimes it towards deep point, where Jamieson moves a bit back and settles underneath it and pouches it.. 199/7 49.5 to RJ Sayer, back of a length delivery from wide of the crease, Sayer waits on the back foot and tries to clear the infield on the side, mistimes it and skies it towards short midwicket, O'Donnell places himself underneath it and grabs it, he hardly moved from his place.. 227/8

46.6 to JM Clarke, short of length delivery from wide of the crease, he waits on the back foot and goes for a hoick over midwicket, not to the top of the bounce and mistimes it towards mid-on where Weerasundara holds it without any trouble, umpire stops Clarke to check the front foot no-ball, after few replays they felt that the bowler had something behind the line and he has to walk back after a long time.. 199/6

22.2 to HZ Finch, comes round the wicket and wide of the crease, that's on a length, around off which spins back in with good bounce, Finch gets forward to defend, beaten comprehensively by the bounce and shattered into the stumps.. 70/2
10 | 1 | 35 | 1 | 3.50 | 33 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
27.6 to JA Tattersall, oh my goodness, you must kidding me of getting a wicket on that, full toss from round the wicket, Tattersall comes down track for a lofted shot with a frustration of not getting anything big in the power-play overs. That kept a bit low and struck in front of the stumps as he played across the angle, walks back in disappointment.. 88/3

40.5 to WMH Rhodes, tossed up delivery from round the wicket, Rhodes gets forward and tries to clip that over the infield, get that on the lower half of the bat and went flat towards the man at short midwicket, a full length dive to his left get rid of the captain, very well judged catch.. 135/5

0.4 to TL Seifert, Gone! Pitched on off and nips back in a long way, Seifert on the front-foot was undone by the swing, rapped on his back pad and plumb as you can get.. 3/1 2.6 to KJ McClure, and one of the unluckiest dismissal, back of a length delivery outside off which holds the line, he stays on the back foot and tries for the cut, was too close for that and ends up chopping that back onto the stumps, England will take that, two big wickets for Fisher.. 15/2 10.1 to RR O'Donnell, wow, that's a lovely one to get rid of the captain, back of a length delivery which pitches on off and moves away with good bounce, he stays on the crease and a half-forward drive got a thick outside edge to the keeper. That's the third wicket for Fisher.. 33/3
8 | 2 | 23 | 2 | 2.87 | 38 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
25.2 to S Hicks, back of a length delivery which shapes back in with good bounce, he stays on the crease and tries for a pull, not that sort of delivery for that shot, went flat into the hands of short midwicket where Jones took it without any trouble. 81/6 25.3 to KA Jamieson, first ball duck and New Zealand falling apart, lovely piece of bowling, good length delivery which nips back in and kept low, he stays on the crease and goes for a drive, no foot work at all, it goes through his defence and knocks the off stump out.. 81/7
7 | 0 | 21 | 2 | 3.00 | 27 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
19.1 to RK Weerasundara, big wicket of Weerasundara, that was tossed up on middle and off, he shuffle across a bit to turn it behind square as he played for the spin, that one kept straight and low, struck on the front pad, huge appeal from the bowler and keeper, umpire took a bit of time before adjudging that.. 62/4 23.2 to LJ Carter, half of the side gone, tossed up delivery from round the wicket, he gets down on one knee for a slog sweep, that didn't did much as he was keeping them quite full and straight, a bit low too, struck infront of middle and leg.. 74/5

10 | 0 | 33 | 2 | 3.30 | 37 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
32.4 to BG Randell, short and kept straight on middle stump, Randell goes back and goes for the pull, got the elevation but not able to clear the infield as it went flat into the hands of Rhodes at short midwicket, first wicket for Jones, he kept it tight from his first over and finally the reward.. 98/8 34.1 to DL Watson, the penultimate wicket falls, touch short on off as he goes back for a cut, that kept low and not enough room to cut, ends up with an edge to the keeper, Clarke doesn't miss those and Jones gets his second for the day.. 108/9 |
