18.1 to K Hilton, Short and wide, trying to chop it behind square on off and gets a faint tickle through to Arshad at slip cordon. It's going from bad to worse for Ireland. Another wicket for Pakistan as Ireland find themselves in a rut. It was an indecisive not really committed attempt to guide it toward backward point / third man and that error in judgement cost his wicket. 39/5 48.4 to O Riley, Stumps shattered, what a sight for the bowler! Hits a length and attacks the stumps, he tries to whack him over midwicket is early through the pull, not behind the line and Ireland show a gritty resistance after stuttering early on. 181/10 | ||||||||||

5.3 to J Neill, Thumped hard into the surface and ruffles him with his searing pace and plenty of purchase off the deck, he gets in a tangle, tries to heave him over square leg and ends up getting a top edge that goes straight to Ubaid Shah who takes an easy regulation catch! Pakistan built massive pressure and have finally managed to pick their first.. 7/1 23.2 to SJ MacBeth, Has an airy waft at it and it goes up in the air, Shahzaib settles near the stumps at off at non-striker and catches it comfortably down his throat, so the move from Saad Baig to bring on Ubaid Shah has paid rich dividends, excellent attacking captaincy and equally good bowling, thumped hard into the deck outside off, he gives himself room and tries to tonk it down the ground but found the splice. 63/6 41.2 to CJB McCullough, Nicked it through to the keeper! Ubaid's hungry for tailend wickets and he looks to have McCullough on toast, forcing him to flirt at the scorcher outside off and Ubaid picks his third, he punches the air ecstasy. 149/8 | ||||||||||

10.4 to RD Hunter, Spoons it straight to mid-off who lunges forward and takes a good catch diving low and keeping his eyes locked at the ball! Back of a length outside off, tries to loft him up and over mid-off but hasn't found the timing and Pakistan manage another breakthrough. Pakistan rejoice as they keep Irelands batters on a leash. 23/2 44.5 to JC McNally, short of a length angled into the body, patted back to the bowler. 158/9 | ||||||||||

13.1 to G Roulston, An ungainly dab, probing length and lures him to drive, he manages to get an edge through to Baig who gobbles it gleefully. Pakistan bowlers continue to spit fire and whenever Ireland have tried to put pressure back on they have lost a wicket, there's been no respite for Ireland. 29/3 17.4 to PL le Roux, Drags his length back just outside off with a steepling bounce, cut shot was on but he couldn't get on top of the bounce and edges it to Baig who pouches it safely. Entire team erupts in euphoria as Pakistan keep finding ways to break partnerships, tentative hack at it and the captain goes back in the hut. 39/4 | ||||||||||

4.6 to Shahzaib Khan, Edged and taken! massive breakthrough Slammed into the pitch and gets some away seam movement off the deck, rises steeply as well, tries to cut and hands a simple catch to Macbeth who pouches it down his throat at first slip, Shahzaib admonishers himself for that shot away from his body, he was trying to break free. Pakistan lose their second as it wasn't short enough to pull but it got big on him, got a top-edge and Hunter says thank you very much, settles under the skier and hangs onto it brilliantly. Fuller on middle stump with no real spin, he lunges forward but played down the wrong line, big appeal and umpire has no hesitation to raise the finger, brilliant bowling change does the trick. 73/3 21.2 to Saad Baig, Dyer has the last laugh! That is a prized scalp, breaches his defence as he exposed his stumps and the ball ripped through the stumps, excellent delivery and a remarkable celebration as well. Ireland sense an opportunity to peg Pakistan back, pressure was building up and they have earned this wicket. 78/4 23.6 to Ubaid Shah, Massive appeal for a caught-behind and GIVEN! Good length floated outside leg stump, ye swivels and tries to pummel that over square leg but ends up getting a faint tickle through to the keeper and Pakistan in some trouble here. Ireland very alive in the contest! Ubaid Shah could't resist the temptation and goes chasing a wide delivery, not so judicious on this occasion. 96/5 39.2 to Arafat Minhas, Makes a mess of his stumps! Dyer weaves out magic and disturbs the furniture at leg, that is a massive wicket. Went down low to sweep and got beaten by the speed and accuracy of Dyer who aimed at the target. Too far across the stumps. Absolutely bamboozled Arafat Minhas, Ireland need three wickets to pull off an upset!. 162/7 | ||||||||||

Camped deep in his crease and the ball spun back extravagantly from outside off, just caught on the crease, didn't account for the turn and the ball sneaks through his defence, would have been better off taking evasive action and playing it on the front foot, brilliantly bowled though on a fuller length and got plenty of turn as well, too little too late. 159/6 | ||||||||||
