Nadeem Tajbhay (Botswana) demonstrated his bowling skill with 7 for 9 in 6.5 overs that saw none of the Lesotho players reach double figures. Botswana posted 277 in their allotted 40 overs and bowled the Lesotho Team for 20 in 13,5 overs.
Zambian, Godfrey Kandela must have felt he had Namibia on the back-foot when he got their openers out cheaply, but the Namibian middle order held it together to score 150 and give their bowlers something to bowl at.
Pikkie Yafraans did not disappoint and took 5 for 27 in 6 which helped Namibia to a 71 run victory.
Malawi scored 241 in 40, with Gift Kansoko hitting 87 from 85 balls. The Mozambican team was off to a shaky start with both openers going for ducks. Captain Giovanni Florentino tried to steady the ship but soon fell victim to S. Savjani who tore through the Mozambican Middle order with 5 for 13 in 6.
