Two fifties as opener in two games, both times taking back the Player-of-the-Match awards. And then there are the four overs he'll bowl. Simple choice, isn't it?

Took two wickets in Tridents' opening game, and in the two overs he bowled in the rain-curtailed game against St Lucia Zouks, he managed to take two more. Add the cameos he can offer in a side that bats aggressively due to a deep line-up means he can offer up performances like the 26 not out he got in the first game.

Dwayne Bravo: A death bowler always has points to pick up with batsmen going for the wild heaves. Bravo is a handy lower-order batsman too. PS. He may just get his 500th T20 wicket in this game, so he'll be pumped (perhaps even more than usual).

Kieron Pollard: He is such an occasion-based player that you can expect Pollard to raise his game while facing his former team. He bats at a comfortable position - at four or five - and that allows him to build on the rapid starts that the team aims with having Narine, Lendl Simmons and Colin Munro at the top. He also fields in the catching hotspots.

Colin Munro: The man simply loves batting in the CPL, as he's shown in past seasons, and has been Knight Riders' anchor for many years. Had a sluggish performance in the opening match but his unbeaten 49 in their second game showed he had found his timing and the range he is famous for.

Johnson Charles: Always worth a punt because he opens the batting for Tridents. He didn't have a great first game, but his 35 against Zouks was full of fireworks in the Powerplay. One of those batsmen who can hurt you on his day, and when that happens, you'd rather have him in your XI. A high-flying fielder with safe hands as well.

Mitchell Santner: With the pitches expected to only get slower, Santner's value becomes even more attractive. He's expected to bowl in the middle overs, so he's likely to be economical, and the lack of runs often means batsmen unsuccessfully look to take him on. Bats higher than Rashid in the Tridents line-up, and is handy with the bat, as he proved with the two contributions he made under the limiting circumstances that he found himself in.
