Bangladesh defeated USA by 70 runs at Imber Court in London on Monday in their first Champions Trophy warm-up.
The win will come as a relief for Bangladesh who were overhauled by Scotland in a four-wicket defeat earlier in the week.
The Bangladesh team were determined to avoid another embarrassment this time, and charged to 285 for 5 from 50 overs from a weak USA attack.
USA made a useful fist of their innings, but fell way short in the end with 215 for 8.
Rajin Saleh, the captain of the Tigers, led from the helm with an allround performance to set up the victory. He hit a quickfire 73 in the Bangladesh innings - assisted by Javed Omar (73 not out) and Nafees Iqbal (57) - before grabbing two wickets. Left-arm spinner Manjarul Islam Rana also took two wickets apiece in the victory.
Bangladesh will face Warwickshire at Edgbaston on Thursday in the final warm-up ahead of their Champions Trophy fixtures against South Africa on September 12 and West Indies on September 15.
