Beres, Walsh team up

It was a time when sport and entertainment came together in grand style.

Most of the West Indies cricketers were on hand, along with Jamaican reggae star Beres Hammond.

The venue was the After Dark Nightclub, where the promoters of the recent Beres Hammond Mother's Day show were holding a tribute to West Indies fast bowler Courtney Walsh last Wednesday night.

While Beres sang a couple of songs in his whiskey-grained, multi-hued voice, Walsh, who is also Jamaican, showed that he too could handle the reggae dancehall when he took the microphone.
