Bevan out of one-day match

Michael Bevan has been ruled out of Tasmania's Ford Ranger Cup match against South Australia at Launceston on Sunday with a hip flexor strain. The injury has already interrupted his start to the season, although he played in Tasmania's last FR Cup game nearly two weeks ago. Michael Dighton and Dane Anderson have been named in the Tigers' squad to replace Bevan and the fast bowler Brendan Drew, who has been omitted.

Graham Manou has retained his place as South Australia's wicketkeeper for the one-day game but has failed to regain his spot in the Pura Cup team to take on Tasmania at Hobart starting next Wednesday. Shane Deitz will be behind the stumps for the four-day game having ousted Manou for a three-day fixture against England XI and impressed with the gloves, claiming five dismissals in England's only innings.

Jason Gillespie returns to the Redbacks' one-day side, replacing Daniel Harris, while Ryan Harris has been added to a 13-man Pura Cup squad as South Australia attempt to lift themselves off the bottom of the table.
