Cricinfo backs Tsunami Appeal match

On Monday January 10, an ICC XI will play an Asian Cricket Council XI in the World Cricket Tsunami Appeal cricket match at Melbourne. The match is the centrepiece of the international cricket community's efforts to support the victims of the tsunami that devastated countries across the Indian Ocean. Many of the world's top players - including Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Muttiah Muralitharan - will take part in the match.
Cricinfo will be dedicating its coverage of this very special match to the victims of the tsunami. We are asking our users worldwide to make a donation to World Vision, the charity which the ICC has identified as the beneficiary of this first match. When users access Cricinfo's live scorecard, they will be encouraged to donate a minimum of $5 to World Vision's Tsunami Relief Fund.
