It is time for the cricketing community in the USA to elect qualified individuals and abandon the old regime and take cricket in the US to a higher level. All the cricket enthusiasts and clubs should come together and elect officials with verifiable credentials so we can make a positive impression of the ICC for any future consideration of the USCA. Shirish Kothari
We, as club-level officials have no say in these elections. The ICC sulking and walking away will not serve the cause of cricket in the US. They must actively pursue this interest rather than depend on lackeys to do it for them. Abhay Natu
Why can attacks on hard-pressed volunteers be publicised and these people submitted to ridicule and scorn? Disreputable attacks on people's reputation are disreputable actions which bring the whole of cricket into disrepute. Why is cricket's dirty laundry being paraded across the internet for governments and sponsors to use to destroy the game's growth? Geoff Edwards
It is blatantly obvious that American cricket development has been severely impeded and even damaged by this farce. I am disgusted by the political grandstanding of an associate member board that needs the assistance of the ICC and yet values their own political agenda more than the furtherance of the game in the USA. What a shame that American cricketers, America's sporting public, and the rest of crickets followers the world over have been denied until now a chance to see the game flourish in America. Shane Moy
I totally agree that this should be a one time special case and the ICC should appoint a chief executive of its own to oversee the USACA. By doing such you will have a clear line and direction and a person that has clout with a can-do attitude. Not a few of empire builders only looking for self purpose and not thinking about who they are representing. Brian C
While the ultimatum to the US Cricket is a good thing, should there not
Be an effort to approach the expats from the subcontinent to participate in the elections to oust the inefficient. The ICC cannot just ignore the largest commercial market in the world just because of a handful of individuals.
Khawaja Daud Mazhar
I think if the ICC totally backs out from supporting the USACA, the sport will come to a standstill in the States. This would be negative for the game as, is constantly reported, there is a huge market to tap into and I think the US can be a full international side in 10-15 years. Praneesh
I think a new administration for USACA sounds promising for cricket in the USA. I play cricket every sunday, with so many dedicated players and fans supporting. It would be sad to conclude that there would no progress for cricket in the United States. We need new, promising individials who have the ability to make this sport something in this big market called America. Navin Singh
