In the previous two issues of The Numbers Game we have highlighted the not out career of Chris Harris. With yet another unbeaten innings in the final one-dayer at Christchurch, Harris climbs further up the all-time one-day list and with Steve Waugh adding another in the Second Final of the Carlton Series, it's worth looking at the table again.

Harris has a particular liking for his home ground Jade Stadium with half his innings in one-dayers on the ground ending in a not out and his average being higher than his highest score. His record at Christchurch is:

On the other hand, team-mate Craig McMillan has not done nearly as well at his home ground, showing a curious weakness on 4, 6 and 23. In seven ODIs at Jade Stadium his scores have been 4, 15, 6, 6, 23, 4, 23 - 81 runs at 11.57.
By the end of the Sri Lankan series, Roger Twose's record at home and away was very similar. It read:

Last week we noted that both Sanath Jayasuriya and Aravinda de Silva had modest records in One-Day Internationals played in New Zealand compared to their impressive overall career records. The Sri Lankan skipper soon put the matter right with a superb century at Auckland. It was his 10th hundred in One-Day Internationals and the list is an impressive one indeed with a number of big hundreds - half of them being over 130. The list reads:

Jayasuriya's century at Auckland came from just 76 balls. It was the fastest One-Day International hundred scored at Eden Park and just one ball short of the fastest ever scored in New Zealand.

Romesh Kaluwitharana played in just one match during the series against New Zealand but his two stumpings at Hamilton were enough to equal Moin Khan's One-Day International world record. The players with 20 or more stumpings in ODIs are:

The one wicket which Chris Harris took in the final one-dayer at Christchurch took him to within one of Richard Hadlee's New Zealand record. The top ten wicket takers for New Zealand in One-Day Internationals are now:

Jacob Oram hit seven sixes in the final two one-day games against Sri Lanka. The four at Christchurch put him on the list which is dominated by the Cairns family.

When Craig McMillan was dismissed for nought in the first game against Sri Lanka at Napier it was his first duck in his 69th One-Day International innings. Russel Arnold made his first ODI duck at Hamilton - his 40th innings.
