Hayden and Warne expected to face-off

Matthew Hayden is set to oppose Shane Warne in Sunday's ING Cup match between Queensland and Victoria at the Junction Oval. Both Test-only players have rested since Australia beat West Indies 3-0 in Adelaide last week and Warne is expected to return from the back soreness that hampered him during the series.

Queensland have been boosted by Hayden's state return while James Hopes is also due back after missing the past month with a shoulder injury. Hopes sustained the problem playing a one-day match in Adelaide and was expected to make his Pura Cup comeback last week, but he was a late withdrawal for the draw with New South Wales.

The Bulls are third on the ING Cup table with eight points from five games while Victoria are second last, but they have played only two matches.
