  • Kumar Sangkkara's innings (35) is the second highest by a Sri Lankan wicketkeeper on debut. He just failed to beat Lanka de Silva's record of playing highest individual innings as 'keeper on debut for Sri Lanka. De Silva had made 37* against India at Colombo SSC on 18-07-1997.
