Kent move venue for Norwich Union League match against Yorkshire

Kent County Cricket Club today confirmed that its Norwich Union League match against Yorkshire on 29 August will be played at Canterbury and not on the Lloyds TSB Sportsground in Beckenham as originally scheduled.

Before first-class cricket returns to Beckenham, the Club wishes to ensure that all appropriate facilities are in place. The decision to change the venue has been taken as further work still needs to be done at the Beckenham ground.

Cricket will, however, return to the ground this season as Kent begins its development programme at the ground with a series of representative matches during the latter part of this summer.
