No comeback for Price, say Worcestershire

Worcestershire have established that their left-arm spinner Ray Price is not among the former Zimbabwean rebels contemplating a return to the national team. Price, 28, joined Worcestershire last year as a Kolpak signing and a return to international cricket with Zimbabwe would re-classify him as an overseas player.

Mark Newton, Worcestershire's chief executive, explained: "Despite reports coming out of Zimbabwe, Ray Price has confirmed overnight that he is not one of those players considering returning to the national team, and that he cannot wait to fulfil his contract with us. He expects to arrive on or around April 1."
