Maurice Odumbe put his recent difficulties behind him with an unbeaten 36, as Kenya took control against Pakistan A at Nairobi's Sir Ali
Muslim Club. Led by a magnificent unbeaten 170 from Ravindu Shah, Kenya closed on 360 for 4.
Odumbe's international future hangs in the balance after allegations of matchfixing, but he showed that his eye is still well in, despite his temporary break from the game. But it was Shah who stole the limelight, as he batted right through the innings.
Shah put on 105 runs for the first wicket with his opening partner Kennedy Obuya, who was eventually caught behind by Kamran Akmal. Kamran was also responsible for the wicket of Kenya's captain Steve Tikolo. Tikolo had raced to 80 and was closing in on his second century of the series, when he was caught behind off Junaid Zia.
