Man of the moment Kevin Pietersen has overtaken Marcus Trescothick as favourite to top-score for England. He is 7/2 to top-score for England, ahead of Trescothick and skipper Michael Vaughan (4/1). Pietersen leads the England run-scoring with 338 runs at an average of 169 and a strike rate of more than a run a ball.
Durban was the scene of an astonishing turn-around in the Test series. Trescothick, Strauss and Graham Thorpe all scored hundreds as England came back from a substantial first innings deficit to almost snatch victory.
