Tikolo appointed coach of Kenya U-19 team

Steve Tikolo was appointed coach of the Kenya Under-19 team earlier this month

Former Kenya captain Steve Tikolo was appointed coach of the Kenya Under-19 team. Tikolo, who had been the batting coach of the Uganda team for just under a year in 2012, took the reins from former team-mate Joseph Angara.
"The players [are] talented and that is key for any coach. I know there is a lot of work to be done but I am determined to walk the hard path with them," Tikolo was quoted as saying in The Star.
His first assignment is at the ongoing ICC under-19 World Cup Africa qualifiers being held in Uganda, where Kenya have won their first two games.
Steve Tikolo played 134 ODIs and scored 3421 runs including three centuries.
