Lahore, June 17: All the 216 probables picked for the final trials to
select Pakistan Under-17 cricket team appeared on the first day of
three-day trials which started at the Qadhafi Stadium on Saturday.
The trials are being held to pick Pakistan Under-17 team for the Asia
Cup to be held next Month in Sindh and Balochistan.
Four selectors, Iqbal Qasim, Ihtesham-ud-Din, Agha Zahid and Azhar
Khan watched the probables and reduced the list to 156. The selection
committee also sent 54 probables for their wrist test to determine
their exact age.
After the conclusion of three-day trials, some 25 probable will be
retained for the training camp.
